Volunteer and Donation Resources

There are several ways to help give back to your community during this time. Find resources below for opportunities within Harris County. Thank you for your support!

Become A MRC Volunteer

The Harris County Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is actively recruiting volunteers to assist our community in response to COVID-19. Volunteers include medical and public health professionals as well as community members without healthcare backgrounds. Units help to strengthen public health, improve emergency response capabilities, and build community resiliency. They prepare for and respond to natural disasters, such as hurricanes, tornados, and floods, as well as other circumstances impacting public health, including disease outbreaks.

Donate Meals To HCPH First Responders

HCPH is accepting meal donations from restaurants and licensed food vendors or donors ordering from restaurants and licensed food vendors to support HCPH first responders as they actively address the community’s needs each day. To the extent possible, prepared meal donations should include a variety of main dish options including beef, chicken, pork, and vegetarian/vegan to meet dietary restrictions and preferences. All meals must be individually wrapped or boxed.

A representative from our team will contact you within 3 business days to confirm and coordinate your donation.
