The Environmental Public Health (EPH) Division protects the public’s health by ensuring a safe and secure environment in Harris County.

The Health Prevention and Coordinated Care (HPCC) Division serves as a hub connecting residents to essential resources, including prevention services, public benefits, and social services. By integrating programs like ACCESS, HCPH Connect, and Chronic Disease Prevention, HPCC streamlines support to improve community well-being and self-sufficiency.

The Mosquito and Vector Control (MVC) Division protects Harris County residents by preventing and controlling mosquito-borne diseases.

The Public Health Preparedness and Response Division (PHPRD) develops and implements a comprehensive, department-wide approach to prepare the community of Harris County to safely respond to and recover from public health emergencies.

The Veterinary Public Health (VPH) Division works with the community to create a safe, healthy, and caring environment for residents and animals of unincorporated Harris County.
