Engagement

The OCEE Community Engagement team's mission is to develop and manage long-term external partnerships and establish culturally responsive engagement strategies to advance program-specific and department-wide goals for health equity. This mission falls in line with the overall HCPH mission, which is to protect health, prevent disease and injury, and promote health and well-being for everyone in Harris County by advancing equity, building partnerships, and establishing culturally responsive systems.
