Office of

Planning & Innovation

The Office of Planning and Innovation (OPI) provides strategic direction through data-driven planning of new programs, regular performance monitoring of existing programs, and coordination of agency-level initiatives. It serves as the planning lead for Harris County Public Health (HCPH) through strategy and planning, project management, evaluation and performance, and grants administration.

OPI has three core organizational functions that support the programs and services of HCPH. These core functions allow OPI to plan, implement, and improve on a variety of public health initiatives, including grants and the ARPA Health Portfolio.
