We would like to extend to you an invitation to join Harris County Public Health (HCPH) in our fight against childhood obesity. Harris County Public Health's Nutrition and Chronic Disease Prevention (NCDP) division is committed to empowering and teaching parents, caregivers, kids and communities ways to eat healthier, increase physical activity, and limit screen time to help maintain a healthy weight. HCPH utilizes the following science-based curriculums to provide optimal education to every age group

  • Eat Play Grow- This programs engages families with young children in creative activities with consistent health messages in both formal and informal settings. For more information, Please click here to view our flyer.
  • CATCH - the Coordinated Approach to Child Health program is designed to create behavior change by enabling children to identify healthy foods and increase the amount of physical activity that they engage in each day. For more information, please click here to view our flyer.
