The Harris County Animal Shelter is giving away free pet emergency disaster preparedness kits with each adoption this weekend.

Each kit comes filled with a blanket, water bowl, treats, a waterproof case for important documents (such as immunization records), a flashlight, poop bags and pheromone spray for cats and dogs. They're valued at $45.
